Personal information is collected on behalf of AMSIG. A Delegate List will be produced for the meeting including name, email address, organisation, state/region and country. It will be distributed to meeting attendees, sponsors and exhibitors, and provided to AMSIG or organisers of future meetings. This list will not be provided by the AMSIG Organising Committee to any other third party. Should you not wish your details to be included on the list, please indicate below.

All prices are in Australian Dollars and include 10% GST. Once the registration process is complete you can select to pay on invoice or by credit card until 29 March 2026. After this date, payment via credit card will be required.

Full Registration Includes:

  • admission to all meeting sessions 2-3 May 2026; 
  • one admission to the welcome function;
  • catering for the meeting;
  • access to the meeting app;
  • attendance certificate;
  • access to recorded content on-demand between 15 May and 31 August 2026.
    (The Ultrasound Workshop and the Trainee Academy will not be available on-demand)

To make sure you get a ticket we recommend booking your social function tickets now, during your registration. While we appreciate circumstances may change spaces are allocated first in first served and we cannot guarantee late requests to attend social functions. Attendance numbers are required in advance of the meeting, and the earlier we are advised of your attendance the better.

If any of the social functions below are showing as FULL, you can go on a waitlist to attend. If a space becomes available, the Conference Managers will notify you directly.

Optional Social Events - Expression of Interest

The Organising Committee are exploring the possibility of offering a range of additional social activities on Friday 1 May and invite delegates to indicate their interest in participating. There is no commitment required at this stage — this is simply an expression of interest to help us gauge potential participation. If there is sufficient interest in any activity, we will proceed with planning and share further details, including costs and scheduling, at a later date. Please take a moment to let us know which activities you and/or your partner might be interested in so we can tailor the program accordingly.

Accommodation Booking

Preferential rates have been secured at the Shangri-La Sydney. It is strongly recommended that you book your accommodation prior to Sunday, 29 March 2026 to ensure you gain the negotiated rates. We are expecting a high demand for delegate accommodation, and would advise you to book early.

Room Rates - Prices are in Australian Dollars, GST inclusive and are listed as per room, per night and based on single, twin or double occupancy unless otherwise stated.

Breakfast - These preferential room rates are inclusive of one buffet breakfast.

Hotel Check-In Time: From 15:00  Hotel Check-Out Time: Before 11:00

Payment - A credit card is required to secure your reservation but will only be charged for late cancellation or no-show. Accommodation is payable directly to the hotel on arrival. You may still choose to pay your meeting fee by invoice after completing this registration.

Cancellation Policy - Cancellations or amendments made after 29 March 2026, or a no-show, will incur a fee equal to the total cost of the cancelled nights. Final payments made by credit card will incur a surcharge.

Additional Nights - If you require accommodation outside the meeting block dates listed below, please book the available dates and note the additional nights required in the 'Accommodation Request' section. The Conference Managers will forward your request to the hotel and notify you directly once confirmation is received.

Changes - To make a change to your reservation, please email the Conference Managers; the hotels will not action requests made directly.

If you require pre and/or post meeting accommodation (or you cannot select dates to cover the full duration of your stay), please go ahead and book the available dates above and specify the additional nights requested in the box below. The Conference Managers will liaise with the hotel and confirm your request for additional nights directly.

Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT
Payment can be made on invoice by direct credit (account details will be included on your invoice), or credit card (Visa, Amex or Mastercard) which will incur a 1.8% fee. From 30 March, you will be required to pay by credit card during the online registration process. Credit card statements will show debit as Outshine Events. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST of 10%. Credit card payments are processed via Stripe which is a Level 1 Service Provider and is compliant to PCI DSS Version 3.2. Confirmation and a tax invoice will be sent via email upon receipt of your online registration.

If your organisation is paying your registration fee and has specific billing requirements, it is the delegates’ responsibility to provide these details during registration. Invoices that fail to meet the organisation's payment policy due to incorrect or incomplete information will not be reissued. The delegate would then be responsible for arranging payment directly and seeking reimbursement from their organisation.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations or registration changes must be made in writing to the Conference Managers at sheryl@outshine.co.nz.

Cancellations made on or before 29 March 2026, will be refunded less $100.00 AUD to cover administration costs. No registration refunds for full cancellations will be made after this date, and refunds for tickets to the social functions will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. You may elect to change to an on-demand viewing or transfer your registration to a colleague, in which case please contact the Conference Manager to arrange.

If for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee, the meeting is cancelled outright, the registration fees will be refunded less a $150.00 AUD administration fee.

REGISTRATION CATEGORY
It is expected that you accurately select the appropriate category during registration. During the standard registration review process, you may be contacted to request proof of chosen registration type. If requested, evidence must be provided within 7 days; failure to do so will result in an automatic update of your registration category, and you will be required to pay the difference in fees.

ON-DEMAND CONFERENCE PLATFORM
The on-demand content of the AMSIG ASM 2026 is being delivered post meeting, and as such, the Organisers and Conference Managers will provide clear guidelines on best-operating systems to use for optimum viewing of the on-demand content for attendees. The Conference Managers will take no responsibility or accept requests for a refund if the guidance for viewing is not followed.

ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATES
Attendance certificates are only provided to individuals registered under delegate categories at the conclusion of the meeting. Healthcare industry and exhibitor registrations do not qualify for certificates of attendance.

PHOTOGRAPHY / VIDEO
The AMSIG ASM is held in a public space, therefore we do not prohibit participants, exhibitors, sponsors, news organisations and other companies from photographing or video or audio-taping some meeting activities. Additionally, the Organisers may arrange for photos to be taken during the meeting. The Organisers reserve the right to use images taken at the meeting with your photograph and/or likeness in future marketing materials, including on the internet. The Conference Managers may also use images taken at the meeting with your photograph and/or likeness in future marketing materials, including on the internet, with the permission of the Organisers. Meeting attendees who prefer their images are neither taken nor published in any format, have the ability to object by sending an email request to the Conference Managers at sheryl@outshine.co.nz.

INSURANCE
AMSIG and the conference managers will not accept any liability for losses associated with the meeting. Delegates are advised to arrange their own comprehensive travel and medical insurance, including insurance for personal possessions and financial loss due to cancellation or postponement of the meeting.

IN-PERSON HEALTH & SAFETY
The Conference Managers, in conjunction with the AMSIG Executive and the Meeting Venue, are committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy meeting environment for all attendees, and to providing the information needed to achieve this. The Conference Managers, in conjunction with the AMSIG Executive and the Meeting Venue, will take responsibility for providing health and safety procedures whilst in-person, however, all meeting attendees need to be aware of their own responsibilities.

Each meeting attendee is encouraged to play a vital and responsible role in maintaining a safe and healthy meeting environment through:

  • Listening to the health and safety briefing onsite and/or;
  • Reading the health and safety procedure document provided in-person at the registration desk.
  • Ensuring all accidents and incidents that occur onsite at the meeting are reported.
  • Informing the Conference Managers, a member of the AMSIG Executive or a staff member at the Meeting Venue immediately of any health and safety concerns.
  • Respecting your own personal safety and that of other meeting delegates and employees.
  • Stay home if you are unwell, advise the Conference Managers, and switch to an on-demand registration.
  • Follow all venue and public health guidelines and regulations.
